Welcome to my TFA Shrine!
About TFA:
Transformers: Animated is an American superhero animated television series based on the Transformers toy line. It was produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Hasbro Entertainment. The series debuted on Cartoon Network on December 26, 2007, and ended on May 23, 2009; running for 42 episodes across three seasons.
TFA’s lore and characterization is very, VERY different from most other transformers shows! optimus being less experienced, the war already being over, magnus as the highest rank instead of prime, no primus/unicron, ect.
While it has some issues and aspects that are reguarded as weaker, it amazes me how long it took for transformers to mix with superheroes considering its history with G.I Joe. Despite the human villians leaning towards the weaker end, they make the decepticons appearing hit way harder as threats even though sari's key neuters the damage they can do until season 3.
Animated also weaves its story lines together masterfully, so many things get intertwined that make complete sense to when other shows would just make a new excuse for something to happen instead of the way animated does it. The show also feels planned out, unlike the way many transformers shows coming out do, something cyberverse suffers from a lot in its first season (and we have interviews confirming this!).
Sari Sumdac also is one of the best human characters in the series, she feels like an 8 year old who could exist (until season 3 but thats another can of worms). Most human characters in transformers aren't that interesting, they have personalities sure, while I'm very guilty of loving Miko Nakadai for her loud personality but they lack depth. Animated choosing to interweave her with the transformers by making her one, was a genius idea and was great for drama. People still talk about sari today, a lot of what i hear about the other human characters is complaints. The earthspark kids seem great even though they're written with a little out of touchness and fundamental misunderstanding of the way how trendy slang gets outdated very quickly.
The show was canceled for Transformers: Prime, and i think that is a both infinite shame and am somewhat glad it was because of the hasbro meddling with the season 4 plans.

I started watching the show on 11/29/2022 and it enraptured me so much i finished it in 5 days. There's so much unique stuff in it that i wish would return. I love TFA's Prowl, Bulkhead and Sari, and I'm shocked not a lot more from TFA has returned in the modern shows.
Favorites: Prowl, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Grimlock, Black Arachnia, Lugnut, Lockdown, Swindle.

A lot of the Animated toys are too expensive to justify trying to get a hold of but I'd love to get my hands on the deluxe Swindle for the same reason I want to get my hands on the Exia Dark Matter: It's fragile as hell and I think I'm built different. I'm not and it will shatter into a million pieces, but I will have a delightful item while it lasts.
I'd love to get most of the main cast's toys, but honestly i'd just be happy with the dinobots, Swindle if I can get my hands on his expensive ass and the new legacy versions of Prowl, Bumblebee and Optimus. The legacy united Optimus looks so good, he's perfectly both tfa and g1 styled it makes me so happy to see. The Prowl and Bumblebee could be better but honestly it could be a lot worse, we could've had no animated rep at all in the legacy line.

You're probably wondering where i got some of these assets! They're from the japanese TFA site! Unfortunately the japanese TFA site seems to have gone down, so this (probably rude) copy is technically also the only traces of these assets you can find easily.
When I was last there I made sure to save all of the assets that were transformers related that i could, but I have moved them all to a mega.nz and google drive folder!
